hiyami: (Amadeo _ love and pretend _ pic by me)
And here we go for the Armand Appreciation Week.

Officially, there has been comics versions of a few of Anne Rice's novels, among which "Interview With the Vampire" and "The Vampire Lestat".

Unofficially, there's been a doujinshi (Japanese fan-art comics - or manga, rather) that is even more rare.

And there are the movies, of course.

But all of these aren't always fully enough to picture Armand.

So when I see a young-looking pretty character with wavy auburn hair, I just stop in my tracks and take notes, for future inspiration.

This is one of those (nothing much to do with Armand apart from the looks, though) :

From Sandman yet again )

Nothing mean. This time.

No, really.

this customers_suck post was re-posted on metaquotes and deserved it. *high five the goth theater manager*

in this post, [livejournal.com profile] grrliz's icon reminds us of a very very bad fic metaquoted a few months ago... (link in the comments. Read at your own risks. It was in January and just seeing the icon I knew exactly what it was referring to)

Historical documentary on the WWII on (no, not Discovery Channel) some channel.

Roosevelt speaking to the U.S. Congress.

Something struck me. I don't recall when is the last time I saw a guy in the politics giving a speech that didn't seem / sounded utterly fake and constructed, with an expression carefully controlled by a training to the use of public image.

Wow.
