Reboot your mobile
Aug. 19th, 2005 07:13 pmI solved the problem of my mobile phone that no longer worked. It was simple really. Just like computers : it ain't workin'? Turn it off, turn it on, ta-daaaa! It works.
*face plants*
So, the guy at the hot-line suggested I'd turn off/on the mobile at least once a day to re-initialize the stuff.
But it was useful to feel stupid, as he also told me that my SIM card was an old model and that he'd send a replacement, because the old one may not work everywhere in the world. Now that may explain things, too.
I received the new one in the mail today. Shiny!
